3FFF Limited is advancing PFAS-free firefighting through innovative foam technology, sustainable formulations and proven solutions for today’s evolving fire risks.

Advancing fire protection through innovation, sustainability and real-world performance

As fire risks continue to evolve, so too must the technology designed to combat them. From the increasing threat to the world’s security of vital oil and gas infrastructure to the destructive wildfires, waste fires incidents, today’s emergency responders require firefighting solutions that deliver exceptional performance whilst meeting the growing demand for environmental responsibility.

Headquartered in Corby, Northamptonshire, 3FFF Limited continues to lead the development and manufacture of next-generation firefighting foam concentrates and wetting agents that are changing the future of fire suppression.

Meeting today’s fire challenges

The global fire landscape has changed dramatically and 3FFF Limited is meeting that challenge with the launch of the first true FFF-AR 1×1 foam concentrate, FREEGEN 1.

At the same time 3FFF Limited have also introduced FREEGEN 1×3 to complete the FFF-AR FREEGEN ‘PFAS-Free’ range. Both products are targeted to meet the demands of oil, gas and chemical storage industries.

There are increasing challenges related to climate change. Longer wildfire seasons, hotter temperatures, the rapid growth of battery energy storage systems, and stricter environmental legislation is increasing demands on fire and rescue services worldwide.

Innovation with purpose

Our portfolio includes:

  • PFAS-free firefighting foams that eliminate fluorinated chemicals whilst delivering outstanding fire performance.
  • Solvent-free formulations that provide safer handling and reduced environmental impact.
  • Specialist foam concentrates, such as the FREEGEN range, engineered for municipal, industrial, aviation, marine, defence and oil and gas applications.
  • Advanced wetting agents, including FREEFOR SF2, designed to improve water penetration and maximise firefighting efficiency during Class A and wildfire incidents.

Every formulation is developed through continuous in-house research, rigorous testing and real-world performance evaluation, ensuring compliance with international standards whilst meeting the operational demands of modern firefighting.

Supporting a sustainable future

Environmental responsibility is no longer optional, it is essential.

For more than 19 years, 3FFF Limited has focused on developing biodegradable, fluorine-free firefighting solutions that help protect both people and the environment.

As global legislation continues to phase out legacy fluorinated foams, organisations require trusted partners who understand both the technical and environmental challenges of this transition. Our expertise enables customers worldwide to adopt sustainable alternatives with confidence.

Knowledge beyond manufacturing

Throughout the year, 3FFF Limited has actively shared industry knowledge through technical articles, educational campaigns and social media, raising awareness of emerging fire risks including:

  • Wildfire prevention and response.
  • Water conservation in firefighting.
  • Industrial fire protection.
  • Environmental best practice.
  • The transition to PFAS-free firefighting foams.

By working closely with fire professionals, distributors and industry partners, we continue to promote informed decision-making and safer firefighting practices across the globe.

Protecting people, property and the planet
