LEADER GROUP is marking its 40th anniversary in 2026, highlighting four decades of manufacturing firefighting and rescue equipment alongside continued international expansion.
Founded in 1986, the company has developed into a global organisation comprising approximately ten complementary subsidiaries, employing more than 400 people and supplying customers in over 130 countries.
Expanding firefighting and rescue capabilities
LEADER GROUP manufactures equipment for firefighting, emergency response and rescue operations through its specialist businesses.
Its portfolio includes firefighting foam concentrates, portable pumps, hoses, couplings, nozzles, monitors, ventilation equipment and thermal imaging cameras.
The Group also supplies victim search equipment, training systems and diphasic firefighting technology.
These products are designed to support different stages of emergency operations, enabling fire services to source complementary equipment through the same organisation.
Acquisitions support international expansion
LEADER GROUP reports that its revenue has doubled since 2021, supported by organic growth and acquisitions.
Recent additions include ZELUP in France and C.E.T. Fire Pumps in Canada.
In June 2026, the Group acquired MERCEDES TEXTILES, a Canadian manufacturer specialising in firefighting hoses and portable pumps.
MERCEDES TEXTILES exports products to more than 50 countries, further extending the Group’s international operations.
Supporting emergency services worldwide
LEADER GROUP operates across Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania.
Its customers include municipal fire services, civil protection organisations, armed forces, industrial operators, naval services and humanitarian organisations.
The Group’s portfolio includes brands such as LEADER, BIOEX, TEMPEST, ZELUP, C.E.T. Fire Pumps and MERCEDES TEXTILES.
Future development priorities
Looking ahead, LEADER GROUP plans to continue expanding its international presence and developing equipment for firefighting and rescue applications.
The company identifies innovation, broader product capabilities and closer relationships with emergency services as priorities for its next phase of development.
