Savox Communications equipment has been included in a fire and rescue communications procurement covering five safety regions in the Netherlands.
The procurement was awarded to Savox’s Dutch partner Firecom B.V., which will provide communications equipment to the regions participating in the Oost5 collaboration.
The solution includes Savox communication headsets and associated accessories for use by fire and rescue personnel.
Five safety regions involved
Oost5 brings together the safety regions of Noord en Oost Gelderland, Gelderland Midden, Gelderland Zuid, IJsselland and Twente.
The collaboration enables the five regions to coordinate requirements for equipment used by their emergency services.
Savox equipment has previously been used by Dutch safety regions to support communications in operational environments.
Helmet communications included
Equipment included within the procurement covers a range of Savox Helmet COM headsets.
Models being supplied include the HC 100, HC 2 and HC 1, together with related communications accessories.
The equipment is intended to help firefighters and rescue personnel maintain communications during emergency operations, supporting coordination and situational awareness.
Communication equipment used by emergency responders must remain practical and reliable in environments where personnel can face noise, protective clothing and demanding operating conditions.
Partnership supports deployment
Firecom will deliver the communications solution to the participating safety regions as Savox’s partner in the Netherlands.
Jerry Kettunen, CEO of Savox Communications, said: “We are proud that Dutch fire and rescue organisations continue to place their trust in Savox solutions.
“This procurement reflects our long-term commitment to supporting emergency responders with communication equipment designed for demanding operational use.
“Together with Firecom, we look forward to supporting the participating regions.
