Fire-protection customers need more than dependable equipment. They need responsive expertise throughout the life of a project. Janus Fire Systems combines engineered special hazard fire protection solutions with the industry knowledge and local support needed to put those systems to work. With systems deployed in more than 40 countries, Janus works through a network of trained partners and value-added distributors who serve contractors, engineers, facility owners, and end users close to the project. These partners provide product access, project coordination, site support, installation and commissioning assistance, inspection, maintenance, and replacement parts, backed by Janus’ engineering and manufacturing resources.

IG-100 Clean Agent: proven equipment with local support

That combination of engineering expertise and local support is particularly important when protecting facilities with sensitive equipment and demanding environmental requirements. One example is Janus IG-100 Clean Agent, an inert-gas fire suppression system designed to control fire without leaving residue on protected equipment.

IG-100 uses 100% naturally occurring nitrogen, giving the system zero ozone depletion potential and zero global warming impact. During a discharge, nitrogen stored in high-pressure cylinders expands rapidly into the protected enclosure, absorbing heat and reducing oxygen to a level that stops combustion. Cylinders are charged to 300 bar (4,351 psig) at 15°C (59°F), providing the pressure needed to distribute the agent throughout the designated space.

IG-100 can be used in both new construction and retrofit applications and is designed to comply with NFPA 2001 requirements. Janus provides the product engineering, system documentation, and JDS® design software, while trained channel partners bring that expertise to the job site. They help customers evaluate applications, account for site conditions, coordinate installation and system interfaces, and support testing and acceptance, ensuring the system is properly configured for the facility’s protection, compliance, and sustainability objectives.

Manufacturer expertise delivered through local partners

The Janus channel model brings together factory-level engineering and local service. Value added distributors and trained partners can assist with site surveys, hazard reviews, budgeting, equipment selection, submittal coordination, project scheduling, installation, commissioning, system integration, inspections, maintenance, and future system expansion. Their familiarity with local practices and customer requirements helps create a smoother path from initial concept through long-term operation.

For customers, this structure provides clear value: a responsive local point of contact, easier access to equipment and parts, coordinated field support, and direct connection to the manufacturer when specialised engineering is required. For contractors and specifying engineers, it means knowledgeable product support throughout bidding, submittals, installation, and acceptance. ISO 9001:2015-certified products and processes reinforce Janus manufacturing quality and repeatability across the network.
