FLIR will highlight its latest industrial fire detection and firefighting technologies at Booth 471 during the NFPA Conference and Expo, showcasing solutions designed to improve early fire detection, asset protection and firefighter safety.
Early Fire Detection Solutions
Among the technologies on display will be FLIR’s A-series thermal monitoring cameras, which are engineered to provide automated pre-ignition alerts in high-risk environments.
The company’s Early Fire Detection solutions combine continuous radiometric monitoring with intelligent alarm functionality to identify abnormal heat patterns before smoke or flames become visible.
Designed for use in battery energy storage systems, solar installations, manufacturing facilities, waste management sites, warehouses and logistics centres, the systems support 24/7 situational awareness and can integrate directly with plant safety controls to trigger automated responses.
By identifying thermal anomalies at an early stage, the technology helps prevent small incidents from escalating into major fires.
Thermal Imaging for Firefighters
FLIR will also showcase its rugged K-series handheld thermal imaging cameras, which are designed to support firefighters operating in low-visibility and high-risk fireground environments.
The cameras provide enhanced situational awareness during emergency incidents, helping crews locate hazards, identify hotspots and improve operational decision-making in challenging conditions.
NFPA Conference Keynote Session
On Wednesday, June 24, Aaron Lawrence, Director of Sales, Automation at FLIR, will participate in a keynote session alongside Martin Casillas, Clark County Fire Inspector, and Ryan Sandler, Vice President of Fire & Life Safety at Everon.
The session will explore how thermal imaging technology, advanced analytics and integrated system design are helping shape the next generation of life safety compliance and fire protection strategies.
Supporting Fire Safety Innovation
FLIR says its thermal imaging technologies are designed to help organisations detect threats earlier, respond faster and improve safety outcomes across both industrial facilities and frontline emergency response operations.
