TLX Fire and Security delivers innovative certified fire suppression actuation technologies and liquid level monitoring solutions for global protection systems.

TLX Fire & Security is a pioneer in the design and production of actuation solutions and integrated technologies for the global fire suppression market. We offer a range of products for fire suppression systems that can be customised to your specifications, and our engineering expertise helps you achieve UL, FM, CE, LPCB, and VdS certifications and listings.

Our selection of electric actuators for fire suppression systems includes solutions for both non-hazardous environments and hazardous gas environments. They also feature integrated supervision, which eliminates the need for an additional supervisory component and electrical connection and satisfies NFPA 2001: Sec. 4.3.4.1 and EN 15004-1 supervision requirements.

Our linear electric actuators are UL 864 Recognised Components for fixed gaseous fire suppression systems and come in three sizes to accommodate the operating pressure of any system up to 300 bar. They provide ultrafast response and are resettable after activation.

The discharge valve interface on all our fire suppression actuators can be customised to fit your system. We configure mounting thread, connector type (male or female), firing pin stick out, and firing pin geometry to your specifications.

Because many fire suppression systems rely on multiple cylinders, we offer pneumatic actuators that are compatible with our electric actuators. When the electric actuator activates, discharge pressure triggers the pneumatic actuator, releasing the extinguishing agent stored in its corresponding cylinder.

We also provide manual actuation options, which attach to the top of our electric actuators, to enable manual activation of your system. Optional manual reset tools are also available so that any of our electric actuators can be reset after activation.

Featured product

TLX Fire & Security’s Liquid Level Sensor (LLS) automatically displays the thermally compensated weight of the extinguishing agent in your cylinders without the errors that can be caused by manual measurements.

The LLS is designed for welded cylinders and is installed prior to filling. This solution includes a sensor package and a sealed tube with a pair of magnetically linked floats. These floats rise and fall together as the fluid level in the cylinder changes to provide an accurate measurement of the fluid level.

The LLS’s microcontroller uses float position and temperature data to determine the thermally compensated weight of the agent, which is indicated directly at the cylinder on a digital display.
