Sensitron is a global gas detection company with over 38 years of experience in developing solutions that help protect people, facilities and the environment. Founded in 1988 in the province of Milan, Italy, Sensitron became part of the Halma plc group in 2021.

Its portfolio includes fixed gas detection systems, detectors and control panels designed for a wide range of applications. Engineered to deliver precise and reliable performance even in the most demanding operating conditions, Sensitron products undergo rigorous testing and are CE-marked. Certified devices also meet internationally recognised standards and certifications, including ATEX 2014/34/EU, EN 60079-29-1, MED and SIL, confirming their high levels of protection, performance and reliability,

Gas detectors for all applications

Sensitron solutions are used across a broad range of industries and environments, from chemical and pharmaceutical plants to oil and gas, water treatment and energy storage. They also support applications in healthcare, refrigeration, commercial and marine environments, with systems installed in hospitals, buildings, hotels, car parks and marine facilities.

Designed to detect flammable, toxic and refrigerant gases, as well as oxygen, Sensitron gas detection systems provide reliable detection and protection wherever gas-related risks need to be identified quickly and effectively.

Sensitron’s product series

Sensitron’s portfolio includes fixed gas detectors and control panels designed to manage systems of any size, in both classified and non-classified areas. With product series such as the SMART 3G, SMART S and SMART 3 detector series, as well as the PK system, Sensitron offers complete, scalable and advanced solutions to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications.

The SMART 3G series is the most versatile solution, suitable for all applications. SMART S detectors offer a high level of customization and are designed to meet the most demanding industrial standards, while SMART 3 detectors are intended for use in non-classified areas. The PK system is designed in accordance with the European standard EN 50545-1, with SMART P detectors connected to a MULTISCAN++PK control panel.
