Intersec Profile: Hytrans

Hytrans, a market leader in mobile water transport systems, will be showcasing its latest hydraulically driven submersible pumps to the firefighting market

Hytrans is the global market leader in mobile water transport systems used for disaster relief. For 35+ years Hytrans has been developing these systems, featuring hydraulically driven submersible pumps. The systems can be deployed within minutes and pump high volumes of water over long distances under high pressure. With capacities up to 45.000 lpm at 12 bar, it enables fire brigades, civil defense, (petro-) chemical and nuclear industries all over the world to extinguish the largest fires effectively, reduce the impact of floods, or supply cooling water.

Beginning in the early 1980s, Hytrans revolutionized pump technology with the creation of their HydroSub system, a unique combination of diesel engines and hydraulically driven submersible floating pumps. Since its inception, Hytrans has evolved this concept into a comprehensive suite of mobile pumping solutions, globally recognized as the Hytrans Fire System (HFS).

The HFS portfolio encompasses a diverse range of HydroSub units, HoselayerContainers, Hose Recovery Units, a variety of hoses, connection hardware, and all essential components for establishing a rapid-response mobile water supply network. These modular, container-based systems are ingeniously designed for swift deployment with minimal personnel. Capable of pumping water over extensive distances and under harsh conditions, they provide an efficient solution for emergency water transportation needs.

With more than 1250 systems installed in over 50 countries, Hytrans is proud to support the most demanding emergency response teams, together with their worldwide network of distributors. Visit Hytrans at the Intersec exhibition, booth 3-G41.
