Fotokite is excited to announce its first participation at the Interschutz Exhibition. After the last edition seven years ago, the leading trade fair for firefighters, rescue services, civil protection and security is finally back in Hannover from the 20 – 25 of June 2022.

More than 1500 exhibitors and over 160000 professionals are expected to attend the show, which will focus on innovations in the areas of Fire Incident and Digitalisation.

Located in Hall 16 Booth E42, Fotokite will showcase flights of the Fotokite Sigma system in Transport Case and Vehicle-mounted configurations as well as the latest Video Live-Streaming software solutions, for the full duration of the show. The Fotokite Sigma is an industrial grade, IP55 rated tethered drone system that consists of the Ground Station and the Kite. A ruggedised tablet runs the Fotokite Live Application and displays the thermal and RGB video streams simultaneously, giving first responder teams actionable information throughout their mission.

Fotokite Sigma systems save team resources by launching, flying, and landing with the single push of a button. Able to achieve true autonomous flight with unlimited flight-time, the Fotokite Sigma requires no active piloting and therefore allows teams to be easily trained and, once in the field, to focus on their mission while providing live thermal and low-light imaging from the height of up to 45 metres (150 feet). Whether first on-scene or arriving mid-response, simple usability and quick set-up time allows first responders to access secure and reliable aerial overviews within seconds to help them understand their incident scenes.

Fotokite Sigma systems will also be showcased on partner and customer booths such as MSA The Safety Company (H14/15 Booth H20), Alpha Robotics (H27), Brandschutztechnik Schlichtiger GmbH (VG D88/D89), Fire International Disaster Response Germany (H27 Booth A18) and many more. A total of 10 Fotokite Sigma will be presented at the show, a unique chance to discover or rediscover our technology during a flight demonstration.
