TracPlus has appointed Phil Nunn as Chief Commercial Officer as the company continues to develop its commercial activities supporting aerial firefighting agencies and operators worldwide.
Nunn will lead the company’s commercial team, focusing on strengthening customer relationships and expanding access to TracPlus technology across the aerial firefighting sector.
Experience in technology leadership
Nunn joins TracPlus with experience spanning sales, marketing, product development and commercial strategy.
He previously served as General Manager at SnapComms, where he led the company’s commercial functions during a period of growth and its subsequent acquisition by Everbridge.
Following the acquisition, Nunn joined the Everbridge leadership team as Asia Pacific Sales Director.
In this position, he was responsible for regional growth and worked with enterprise and government customers across the Asia Pacific region.
His previous roles have focused on developing commercial strategies and supporting the expansion of technology businesses.
Supporting aerial firefighting operators
At TracPlus, Nunn will oversee commercial activities aimed at agencies and operators responsible for managing and reporting on aerial firefighting operations.
His responsibilities will include bringing the company’s product, marketing and sales functions together to address customer requirements.
The appointment is intended to strengthen coordination between these teams and support organisations using TracPlus technology.
Strengthening customer relationships
TracPlus has developed its business through relationships with agencies and operators involved in aerial firefighting.
Nunn’s appointment builds on this approach, with an emphasis on understanding operational requirements and helping customers make effective use of the company’s technology.
His role will also involve extending TracPlus’s reach to additional agencies and operators internationally.
The leadership change forms part of the company’s continued focus on customer engagement and commercial development within the aerial firefighting market.
Todd O’Hara, CEO, TracPlus, said: “Phil has built and scaled commercial teams through exactly the stage we’re at, working with government and enterprise customers. As more agencies move from tracking to running their operations on TracPlus, he’ll make sure product, marketing, and sales work as one team around what those customers need.
“What attracted me to TracPlus is the opportunity to work with a business that is solving a genuinely important problem for customers operating in some of the most demanding environments imaginable.
“The more I learned about the customers TracPlus serves and the challenges they face, the clearer it became that there is significant potential to help them realise greater value from the technology and data available to them.
Phil Nunn, Chief Commercial Officer, TracPlus, said: “There is a real opportunity to bring sales, marketing, and product together around the customer, build on the strong foundations already in place, and help more agencies and operators better use their data, improve situational awareness, and make more informed decisions when it matters most.
“I’m excited to help TracPlus realise that opportunity while staying firmly focused on the customers and the critical work they do.”
