The Solberg Company, the world’s foremost innovator of firefighting foam concentrates and systems hardware, announced today the appointment of James Perriss (pictured) as General Manager, Asia-Pacific Region.
Mr. Perriss entered the fire protection business in 2006 serving in various sales, business development and management capacities, most recently as Regional Sales Manager, Oceania. James joined Solberg back in 2011 from Chubb Fire & Security where he held the position of Major Accounts Manager covering the oil & gas, petrochemical, marine and industrial market sectors.
Mr. Perriss brings a total of 16 years’ experience in international sales and business development of industrial products through distribution channels to Solberg. He is a customer-oriented executive manager with the proven ability to organise and motivate multicultural sales teams for accelerated growth, channeling partners to deliver results for both organisations. James holds a BS (Hons.) in Geology from The University of Manchester (UK), and a Graduate Business Management Diploma from Rentokil Initial PLC.
