Advanced firefighting foam concentrates – Engineered for environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

In an era where environmental stewardship is no longer optional, 3FFF Limited stands at the forefront of a firefighting revolution. As regulations tighten around the globe and the firefighting community seeks sustainable, high-performance alternatives to traditional AFFF foams, one company is rising to meet the challenge head-on.

3FFF Limited is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in the formulation and production of high-performance firefighting foam concentrates designed for industrial, municipal, marine, aviation, and defence applications. Our primary focus is continued development of Fluorine-Free (PFAS-free) and Solvent-Free foam technologies that meet or exceed the performance of traditional AFFF products, while aligning with evolving global environmental and safety standards.

We operate a vertically integrated model, encompassing in-house R&D formulation, blending, and quality assurance under ISO-compliant systems.

Fluorine-Free Foam (F3) Concentrates

Engineered to deliver rapid knockdown, long burn-back resistance, and high-efficiency blanket stability without the use of persistent PFAS chemicals. Suitable for Class A and B fires including hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuels.

Solvent-Free Formulations

3FFF have a complete range of Solvent Free products, formulated without hazardous organic solvents, minimising contamination and improving safe handling safety without sacrificing firefighting effectiveness during storage, transport, and deployment.

Our R&D team continuously benchmarks against legacy AFFF and AR-AFFF formulations to ensure our fluorine-free alternatives deliver equivalent—or superior—performance in extinguishment time, burn-back resistance, and post-fire security.

Environmental and Regulatory Compliance

3FFF Limited is fully aligned with the global transition away from persistent organic pollutants (POPs) under: EU PFAS Restriction Proposals (REACH Annex XV), US EPA PFAS Strategic Roadmap and Stockholm Convention Guidelines

Our SmartFoam range formulations are: Free from PFAS, PFOA, PFOS, and related fluorosurfactants, biodegradable and non-persistent and manufactured using REACH-registered raw materials.
