Emergency One has announced a new partnership with Dutch fire and rescue vehicle specialist Carrosserie Touw, bringing together two established manufacturers to strengthen support for fire and rescue services across the Netherlands and the wider region.
The collaboration is based on a shared commitment to delivering tailored fire and rescue vehicle solutions, combining Emergency One’s design and manufacturing expertise with Touw’s local technical knowledge and customer support capabilities.
Combining decades of expertise
Emergency One brings more than three decades of experience designing and manufacturing innovative, high-quality fire and rescue vehicles for customers across the UK and international markets.
Carrosserie Touw, founded in 1928, has been serving the Dutch fire and rescue sector since the late 1960s. #
Operating nationwide across the Netherlands, the company has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship and its ability to adapt and modify fire and rescue vehicles to meet changing operational requirements.
Tailored fire appliance solutions
Under the partnership, Emergency One and Touw will work together to engage with fire and rescue services throughout the Netherlands, supporting the design, delivery and servicing of bespoke fire appliances.
The companies said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to customer-led vehicle design, moving away from a standardised approach in favour of flexible solutions tailored to individual operational requirements.
Supporting the Dutch market
By combining their respective expertise, Emergency One and Carrosserie Touw aim to create a “best of both worlds” vehicle concept designed specifically for the evolving needs of the Dutch fire and rescue market.
The partnership is intended to provide fire and rescue services with greater flexibility, stronger local support and closer customer relationships while delivering vehicles that meet operational requirements.
