PAC introduces its redesigned IRONSLOK HD mounting system, developed to improve equipment security, accessibility and operational flexibility for firefighters.
Performance Advantage Company (PAC) is proud to announce the release of our newly redesigned IRONSLOK HD. This new product launch represents more than just the introduction of something new; it signals innovation, growth and our commitment to solving real-world problems for our customers. This March, we launched an exciting new product design that we are sure will improve efficiency, reliability, safety and overall user experience.
The new IRONSLOK HD (PN/K5003-HD) is a redesign of our current IRONSLOK HD and we will immediately discontinue the standard IRONSLOK (PN/K5003). With this new product launch, we are essentially taking the best of both products and combining them into one. The new K5003-HD can handle standard-sized irons as well as oversized irons such as the Pig Axe and Fire Mau, while still being capable of securing standard-size Halligans as well.
After extensive research, customer feedback and real-world testing, we are proud of the redesign and since releasing in March, our customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
The new IRONSLOK HD features a Positive-Locking FastLok mounted to PAC’s MINI DUAL TRAC Aluminium extrusion, as well as newly designed end modules. The difference in the redesign of the end modules is we are now able to accommodate larger irons and the handle side module can now securely accommodate additional spike ends. The housing side module is now tapered with a “keyed” entry for easier tool alignment and fit. The FastLok straps are available in three colours: yellow, orange and black. The FastLok cam lever system keeps your tools secure as proven by the IRONSLOK HD’s compliance with NFPA standards for in-cab use, while maintaining the ease of release, even with your gloves on.
The rugged injection moulded and thermoformed modules are made from high quality materials and are weather and UV resistant. The entire unit is also non-conductive. Weighing just over 7.5 lbs and measuring 33 inches in length, the IRONSLOK HD has several versatile mounting options. The 5003-HD can be installed either horizontally or vertically for the best fit in your apparatus.
As always, PAC products are made in the US and carry a limited lifetime warranty. If any part fails under normal use, we will replace it free of charge, upon inspection of the failed part.
