Sensitron operates worldwide in gas detection. Their product range consists of fixed gas detection systems, detectors, and control panels for a variety of applications. Founded in 1988 in the province of Milan, Sensitron became part of the Halma plc group in 2021. Always attentive to innovation and technology, the internal research and development department enhances Sensitron’s solutions with the goal of guaranteeing safety for people, environments, and the ecosystem in which we live.

Fixed gas detection systems find application in multiple sectors. Industrial processes often require the use and processing of hazardous substances, such as toxic and combustible gases. Sensitron’s SMART 3G series of gas detectors is designed for use across all applications, ensuring timely and accurate detection even in the harsh environments of industries like pharmaceuticals. The pharmaceutical industry includes research, development, production, and marketing of drugs and medicines, contributing to the prevention and management of a wide range of medical conditions where gas hazards are present in many processes.

To ensure the safety of people and environments exposed to the risk of gas leakage, Sensitron offers several product series:

  • SMART 3G Series
  • SMART S Series
  • SMART 3 Series
  • PARK System

The SMART 3G series, consisting of models like the SMART 3G C2, SMART 3G C2-LD, SMART 3G D2, SMART 3G C3, SMART 3G D3, and SMART 3G Gr.1 gas detectors, is suitable for all types of applications. ATEX, IECEx, and SIL certified, these detectors can mount electrochemical, catalytic, infrared, and PID cell sensors to detect flammable, toxic, CO2, VOC, and refrigerant gases.

The SMART S series, including the SMART S SS and SMART S MS gas detectors, was designed for high customizability and durability in harsh environmental, industrial, and marine conditions. Both ATEX, IECEx, and SIL certified, the SMART S can mount HART modems, while the SMART S MS is available with CCS and MED certification.

The SMART 3 series, including the SMART 3 NC, SMART 3 R, SMART 3H LITE, and SMART 3H FM-LITE gas detectors, is made for use in unclassified areas. The SMART 3 R and SMART 3 NC models can mount infrared, catalytic, or electrochemical cell sensors, capable of detecting flammable, toxic, CO2, and refrigerant gases.

The PARK system, consisting of the SMART P gas detectors and MULTISCAN ++PK control unit, is designed to meet European standard EN 50545-1. The SMART P can be equipped with catalytic or electrochemical cell sensors to detect toxic and flammable gases, while the MULTISCAN ++PK supports up to 264 inputs and 520 outputs.

Sensitron continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions to ensure the safety of personnel and facilities from hazardous gases across various industries.
