Allegion UK is pleased to announce its participation at International Fire Buyer’s upcoming Fire Buyer Live 2023 event, with Alex Airnes, Business Development Manager for Scotland and North of England region at Allegion UK, set to join the conference programme as a speaker.
Fire Buyer Live is a leading online event focused on uniting all corners of the international fire industry, with best practice, education and networking spanning across the active and passive aspects of the fire market. The popular virtual event returns for the second time this year, taking place on 18-19th October and will feature a session from Alex on ‘The Makings and Maintenance of Fire Doors‘.
Alex joins the panel in collaboration with a host of industry partners and international speakers, each scheduled to tackle key sector issues with over 40 hours of insightful content. Alex’s feature session is set to commence at 11:30am on Wednesday 18th October, with a follow up ‘Innovator Interview’ scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday 19th October.
Commenting on the topic of fire door maintenance, Alex said:
“There are many different layers to fire safety and more than ever it’s important for the industry to come together to support knowledge and practice development across the board. Fire door safety is an area that has fallen under neglect, and it’s essential that responsible persons understand their roles in relation to fire door checks and maintenance periods.
