On the 31st August, the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from a house on Northshore Resort Road, off of W Highway.
As soon as the fire units arrived on the scene, they found heavy smoke coming from the structure. Straight from the off, fire crews made an aggressive interior attack by knocking down the fire, and water was eventually established by laying 600 feet of 5-inch hose to the LOFPD fireboat.
At 10:45am, the fire was marked under control by authorities, however units remains on the scene until 12:38pm (midday) to conduct salvage and overhaul operations.
The Rocky Mount Fire District, Osage Beach Fire District, Eldon Fire Department, Miller County Ambulance, Sunrise Beach Fire District and the Mid County Fire Protection District all assisted the Laze Ozark Fire District for the incident.
At time of writing, the cause of the fire is under investigation as the Missouri State Fire Marhal’s office was contacted to investigate the blaze.
