Super Vac has expanded its battery powered positive pressure ventilation offering with the V-MAX Valor, a fan designed to deliver airflow performance comparable with many gas powered alternatives while retaining the compact design of the established Valor.
The V-MAX operates using readily available, non proprietary battery platforms. It is EMI compliant, IP rated, and certified to CE, DIN and AMCA 240 22 requirements.
V-MAX Valor delivers up to 13,500 cfm airflow
Depending on the model, airflow can reach up to 13,500 cfm through a dedicated MAX button. This setting provides up to 40 percent more airflow than other battery fans, according to Super Vac, although MAX mode slightly reduces battery runtime. During standard high speed operation, the company states that the V-MAX delivers 30 percent more output than other battery fans.
Airflow performance has been independently validated using AMCA Standard 240 22 testing procedures. The standard was revised in 2022 specifically to address battery powered PPV fans. Testing considers documented battery runtimes, a constant power supply to account for declining battery power over time, and a smaller doorway intended to align with international standards.
Compact PPV fan design and battery compatibility
The V-MAX retains the compact aluminium roll cage construction associated with the Valor range. Its curved handle folds into the frame and can be extended to provide a higher grip position. Flat proof rubber tyres and stair skid plates support movement across rugged terrain.
Unlike the legacy Valor, the V-MAX is available for the STIHL battery platform. However, it is not offered in the 16 inch saddlebag configuration. The Milwaukee M28 platform remains exclusive to the legacy Valor.
Both generations remain available, with the original Valor retaining AMCA certified airflow performance and the same compact, ergonomic design. Super Vac provides a five year warranty on the fan, with a three year warranty covering the motor and batteries.
