IFE responds to government consultation

The IFE has responded to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) ‘Request for Evidence’ consultation on a Technical Review of Approved Document B of the Building Regulations. A workshop for members was held on 5th February 2019 during which the consultation was discussed. Throughout the day, two breakout group sessions were held; the first dealt with the specific matters listed in the MHCLG consultation document and the second dealt with some additional ‘general’ matters relating to quality and competency of particular concern to the IFE.
