Fire at derelict Denbigh Hospital in Wales thought to be deliberate

Fire and police officers have said that the latest fire at the site of the Grade II-listed former Denbigh Hospital in Wales is thought to be deliberate.
At around 12:30 on the 5th April, fire crews attended a blaze, and it took them over 12 hours to put it out.
Over the years, the derelict former North Wales Hospital has repeatedly been damaged by fire.
At time of writing, the North Wales Police, Denbighshire council and the North Wales Fire Service are all investigating the cause of the fire.
“We are truly saddened to hear about the fire on Wednesday and the fact it was started deliberately beggars belief,” Denbighshire council leader Hugh Evans said.
