Comelit-PAC introduces new wireless fire alarm product line

Comelit-PAC has unveiled its latest addition to its range of alarm systems, debuting a wireless fire detection series following the success of its LogiFire system.

“The demand for wireless fire detection systems is growing significantly,” said Mandy Bowden, Fire Manager at Comelit-PAC, “Their increasing popularity can be attributed to the ease of installation, reliability, and flexibility in configuration, ideal for a seamless new build or retrofit system for both residential and commercial applications.”

The new range of wireless devices from Comelit-PAC caters to installations where a wired solution may not be feasible. Designed with ease of installation in mind, the transceivers within the range can be expanded to accommodate various system configurations.

Offering both addressable and conventional transceivers capable of cloud and remote monitoring, these wireless devices eliminate the need for extensive cabling, resulting in reduced installation time and project costs.

“The Addressable transceiver sits directly on the loop with a built-in isolator for added protection,” Bowden explained. “This enhances a wired system allowing indication of tamper faults, battery faults, device faults, contamination levels, and alarm reporting by the panel and remotely via the cloud.”

In addition to the addressable transceiver, Comelit-PAC offers a conventional transceiver option, which can be utilized alongside conventional wired devices or as a standalone unit. This configuration allows for flexible zoning options, with support for up to five zones per transceiver.

Featuring a range of up to 1500 meters and an impressive battery life expectancy of up to 10 years for detectors and manual call points, Comelit-PAC’s wireless devices are designed to meet the demands of various installations. Mandy emphasized the importance of conducting site surveys to ensure optimal system performance.

“With the rise in fire safety legislation, it’s critical to present smart and compliant methods for early detection and prevention,” Bowden added. “All coming together with no compromise to style or futureproof technical capability, as you would come to expect from the Comelit-PAC’s LogiFire portfolio.”

With a focus on compliance and safety, Comelit-PAC’s wireless alarm devices are certified to meet EN54 standards, including EN54-25, EN54-17, and EN54-18.
