Honeywell’s fire technologies previewed at ISC West 2021

Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) will preview the latest upgrades to its security and fire products at the 2021 International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC West), July 19-21 in Las Vegas. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to preview and learn more about Honeywell’s security and fire solutions that provide streamlined operational efficiency, real-time response, predictive analytics and flexible integration that can ultimately help reduce costs and increase revenue for end users.

The SIA New Product Showcase Awards are presented annually at ISC West and recognize innovative physical security products, services and solutions for the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings. This year, Honeywell’s Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite was recognized in the Access Control, Software, Hardware, Devices & Peripherals (wired) category, and NOTIFIER by Honeywell NOTIFIER INSPIRE Self-Test Detection won the Fire and Life Safety category.

“We’re working to deliver more effective and efficient security solutions with the ultimate goal of creating safer building environments,” said Rick Koscinski, General Manager, Security Americas, Honeywell Building Technologies. “End users are facing more complicated problems – it’s not just about selling one solution to address a tactical issue anymore. We’re working across our teams to develop products that provide outcome-based solutions to our customers such as managing compliance, increasing uptime and creating business resilience.”

Two featured security products help comprise Honeywell’s Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite, a security platform for enterprise and critical infrastructure customers. It provides a robust, global video surveillance and intrusion detection solution with integrated access control to protect staff and property, optimize productivity and comply with strict industry regulations ― all while enabling customers to reduce operational costs. Previewed security technologies include:

Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite: Honeywell Pro-Watch Intelligent Command, a user interface that provides improved situational awareness of an enterprise’s security system, will be upgraded with the latest version of Pro-Watch. Enhancements include a unified view of alarms and maps; incident workflows and a hierarchy builder for creating logical zones/group based multi-site views; improved productivity and system uptime with centralized firmware and password management; system health dashboards and a multi-site Healthy Buildings dashboard for safety compliance as business re-open.

Pro-Watch VMS (Video Management System): Honeywell Pro-Watch Intelligent Command will enhance the situational awareness of Pro-Watch VMS R700, a feature-rich and user-friendly video management platform that controls video subsystems to collect, manage and present video in a clear and concise manner. Enhancements include a mobile application for video and access, and video core features with increased flexibility, redundancy and additional integrations.

“Fire and life safety will always be non-negotiable components of a commercial building – if there are occupants, then there must be a system that protects them,” Daraius Patell, Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Fire Americas, Honeywell Building Technologies. “With the latest Honeywell fire solutions, we aim to provide customers with advanced technology that not only prioritizes occupant safety but also helps to create more efficient responses from safety and fire professionals.”

For professionals engaged in fire safety decisions, the Honeywell NOTIFIER range of intelligent fire solutions helps optimize a building’s evacuation process, promptly identifying potential threats to allow for faster and more efficient reactions. Previewed fire technologies include:

NOTIFIER Self-Test Detector:

This is the first UL-approved self-testing detector to automate system maintenance. It creates a safer building environment for occupants by arming service technicians with digital self-testing tools that allow for confirmation via testing that all detectors are functioning while the system remains operational. It provides efficient compliance with local regulations with the least disruption to business operations.

NOTIFIER INSPIRE

A fire alarm control panel solution created to enhance fire technician efficiency, as it is designed to scale up or down based on the building’s needs, minimizes the need for equipment changes and provides secure connectivity. It provides an all-in-one solution that delivers reliable protection, efficient monitoring, and flexible, timely reporting.
