Chemring exhibiting handheld explosive, narcotic and chemical threat detection products at FDIC

Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems, part of Chemring Group Plc, announced today its plans to exhibit at the 2016 International Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) to feature the company’s handheld chemical detection products.

What: Chemring will feature innovative identification and detection products including:

  • PGR-1064: A handheld Raman spectroscopy-based identifier of chemicals, narcotics and explosives.
  • JUNO: A handheld system based on Differential Mobility Spectrometry (DMS) that is capable of detecting chemical trace vapors in the atmosphere, such as Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs) and Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs).
