That rich history, coupled with a studentcentered mission, has created a springboard for UIU to become a recognised innovator in offering accredited, quality programs through flexible, multiple delivery systems, including online and independent study.

From the Fayette Campus to the U.S. Centers, to the International Centers, UIU has the people in place to help you succeed. Today this self-guided, independent study program continues to enable students from around the world an opportunity to continue their education without having to attend class or have consistent internet access.

Students can work via the U.S. mail or email, depending on their access and location. The program features open enrollment so you may enroll in a course at any time. During the 1990’s, Upper Iowa University established off-campus learning centers at several locations in order to provide accelerated and convenient degree completion opportunities for students.

The convenient off-campus centre locations are perfect for those who work full-time, part-time or just looking for degree programs in their communities. Classes are held during evenings and weekends in accelerated eight week terms to accommodate busy schedules.

The rigorous curriculum is designed for working adults and incorporates high academic standards. It has been ranked in the top 10% of online programs nationwide by Online Education Database (OEDb) since 2008.

Several online degree programs have been ranked as “Best Buys” by GetEducated.com.
