EarthClean Corporation Introduces Second Generation TetraKO Water Enhancer

EarthClean Corporation of St. Paul, Minnesota, today announced the introduction of an advanced formula of its patented TetraKO® firefighting water enhancer. The all-new TetraKO XL-P granulate easily mixes with water and can be poured directly into a wide range of existing firefighting equipment, including air-pressurized fire extinguishers, backpack sprayers, skid units, utility vehicles (UTVs) and tankers. The biodegradable mixed solution provides unmatched Class-A firefighting and fire management performance.
“The new team at EarthClean Corporation, led by Vice President of Research and Development, Paul Rothweiler, have invested close to two years of time and significant resources on an all-new, second generation TetraKO XL-P granulate formula,” said James R. Grabek, EarthClean Corporation President. “The result is a game-changing technology that maintains the knockdown and fire suppression capabilities of our first generation product, yet is far easier to mix and use. We’re very excited to present and offer it to the fire industry.”
EarthClean Corporation has launched a new website at www.earthclean.com. The new website includes videos, photos, case studies and contact information for those wishing to test the technology. EarthClean is accepting applications from companies interested in distributing its products.
TetraKO XL-P is a patented, biodegradable corn starch-based granulate that quickly mixes with water and is pumped using standard firefighting equipment. The product can be poured directly into a wide range of existing firefighting apparatus and equipment. TetraKO XL-P granulate is conveniently packaged in sizes ranging from 4-ounce bottles (for mixing into a 2.5 gallon capacity fire extinguisher) to a 22-pound pail (enough to create 250 gallons of mixed solution).
TetraKO XL-P enhances performance and firefighter safety. It delivers faster and more effective knockdown and suppression of Class-A fires compared to plain water, gels and traditional foams, while eliminating exposure to toxic chemicals that can damage fish, wildlife and sensitive watersheds. TetraKO XL-P reduces smoke and water damage, conserves water, and greatly reduces run-off.
“We encourage fire departments and fire equipment distributors to test the new TetraKO XL-P granulate formula, and experience its performance and environmental benefits for themselves,” said Grabek. “We’re confident that one simple trial in a fire extinguisher, backpack sprayer or UTV will demonstrate its many benefits – and make a strong case for fire departments to add TetraKO as an easy-to-use and game-changing technology in their firefighting arsenal.”
