FirePro UK Introduces New Mobile Demonstration Unit: “Melissa”

FirePro U.K. are delighted to announce the launch of Melissa, a state-of-the-art mobile demonstration unit designed to enhance the already popular FirePro fire suppression product training and learning on offer, across the U.K. and Ireland.

FirePro is a fire suppression product which is neither a gas stored under pressure, or water. It is an all-electrical technology with no pipes or cylinders suited to a variety of fire risks and sold in 82 countries globally.

Melissa brings a new mobile dimension that goes beyond the traditional classroom setting, offering participants the opportunity to experience a live fire demonstration of the FirePro (LPCB-certified) condensed aerosol fire suppression product.

Melissa has been specifically developed to support a wide range of training formats, including internal engineering sessions, “lunch & learn” programs, and accredited CPD (Continuing Professional Development) learning. With an emphasis on experiential learning, the unit allows participants to witness the design, installation, and commissioning of FirePro systems, as well as observe how these systems respond when a fire is detected and successfully extinguished.

In addition to internal training, Melissa is available to support the FirePro U.K. Ambassadors network for their own external promotional events. Melissa is also accessible to the wider fire safety community, including specifiers and end-users who wish to enhance their understanding of fire suppression technology. The mobile unit is available for demonstrations across the U.K. and Ireland, requiring only a space equivalent to three standard parking bays.

To date, Melissa has been successfully deployed in collaboration with the EA-RS Group and was featured at an event in Manchester, where our Kate Blake & Gus Panesar successfully delivered an accredited CPD session to around 100 delegates and members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
