Master Lock® has announced a range of leading secure safes and security chests that combat fire, flooding and theft, protecting your family or business in even the most extreme emergencies. Designed to preserve digital storage devices, electronic equipment, documents, photo albums, money, jewellery and more, the safes can endure incredibly hot temperatures, submersion in water and thwart would-be burglars.
Matching brute strength and impenetrable qualities with the brand’s heritage for innovation, the range includes 60% bigger bolts than traditional safes, pry resistant hinges, touch keypads and audible alarms.
Made from steel and Master Lock’s own fire and water protection technology, choose from a large, extra large or two range-topping XXL safes with programmable digital combinations and a capacity of 57 litres and a 57kg load.
For a more personal solution, select from four smaller security chests, starting with a 5.2 litre capacity and 6kg load, all of which can be bolted down to secure surfaces for added peace of mind.
Master Lock® safes and security chests protect against a verified maximum temperature of 927°c for up to 60 minutes. If you use physical storage media (hard drives, USB clips, SD cards etc) that temperature is well above the Curie point at which they are no longer able to hold data together, which can result in a loss of precious and important files and memories.
